Lawyer of the People Certification
The Trial Lawyers College trains lawyers who serve the needs of the people. To that end, we do not accept students who serve the needs of government or corporate entities.
In every element of the trial we are telling the client's story. At our Direct Exam Course for Women Trial Lawyers, you will learn how to tell that story in new, powerful and dramatic ways with your witnesses. TLC's Direct Exam methods help you to find your own voice to bring your client's story to life so that your jury actually experiences and becomes a part of your client's case. TLC-trained lawyers have proven time and again that if the jurors can better experience what the client has experienced, your chances of winning simply explode.
Taught by a team of both TLC-trained civil and criminal defense lawyers, and licensed and certified psychodramatists, you will work in small groups, on your cases, to learn how to craft and conduct your next direct exam. You will discover how your unique power can forge an honest relationship with the jury and help you develop and deliver a winning direct exam in your most difficult cases.
Tuition includes TLC method training in both large and small groups and meals as indicated on the agenda and shared guestrooms (limited space available). Attendees must secure their own transportation and lodging.
