Amanda Harber

Amanda Harber has been a criminal defense lawyer for 13 years. Amanda received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her law degree from the Rutgers School of Law in Camden, New Jersey. She has practiced in Anchorage, Nome, Kenai, Kodiak, and Bethel and has briefed cases on appeal before the Alaska Court of Appeals, and the Alaska Supreme Court. Amanda is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska. ​Prior to starting 49th State Law, Amanda was an assistant public defender for nine years. Amanda is currently on the board of the Alaska Association of Criminal Defense lawyers, the president-elect of the Trial Lawyers College alumni group, “The F-Warriors,” and she serves on the faculty of the Trial Lawyers College.
