Episode 6: Attorney Dana Cole Talks About The Intersection of Teaching & Trial Law
“I think that the most successful trial lawyers I know are people that genuinely care about their clients. I think they understand that if they take the time to care for their clients, the money or the business aspect in some way will take care of its self. That’s where they come from. That’s a common characteristic I see in the students, and some of the best lawyers I know, is an attitude of caring, that’s what motivates them.” – Dana Cole ’95 TLC Grad
In this episode, we talk with Dana Cole, Attorney, Trial Lawyers College Faculty and Board Member and Associate Professor of Law at the University of Akron. Dana brings a very unique perspective – not only does he both practice law and teach it, he also has the opportunity to teach law students at the very beginning of their journey and then teach them later, through the Trial Lawyers College, when they’re well down their professional path. Great stuff lies within.
