“Storytelling and fighting for your clients fit hand-in-hand. When we ask people questions, they will usually go into a dialogue, which is ultimately boring. But when people tell stories, what I try to bring out in my podcast, they talk from their heart. When they tell the stories that were meaningful to them, it draws us in like magnets. Our desire to hear the story and listen is huge! I learn so much when I listen to other peoples stories. I thought creating this podcast would be a great way to really learn personally about storytelling and to figure out what other great lawyers are doing to fight for their clients.” – Scott Glovsky
Scott reveals information from several cases he’s tried. He talks about how he builds his relationships with his clients and how important this is when going to trial.“I’ve had jurors tell me ‘I know you care about your client’. The jury can see it all, we can’t bullshit them.. It’s almost endemic that we are taught in law school, at least in my perception, that we can’t be human. But what really matters is the relationship we build with ours client and how we tell their story in front of the jury.”
